I Scream for Ice Cream!

There is a worldwide holiday for almost everything. This one will make life a bit cooler. 

Ben and Jerry's have declared Tuesday April 8th 2014 as a very important day. Free Cone Day. One fan summed up the theme for this day of sharing, "Peace, love, and happiness." How? Ice cream.  

Before this blog post starts looking life a press release, let me explain. Ben and Jerry's did not ask me to write anything at all. I just wanted to help you out by spreading the word. 

The universe throws plenty of challenges at us every day. There is a lot of work to do. And there are so many people to help. That one little scoop, at the end of the day, is how I reward myself. It says, "Mel, congrats for completing another day." So ice cream is like a trophy. And the only thing better than ice cream is free ice cream.

Craving Community as a Millenial A real sense of community is needed more than ever. The digital world can coexist with face-to-face interactive community experiences. Local group events are needed for true connection with fellow human beings. Digital tech and social media can facilitate in-person communities. There is More to Explore at the Gold Coast than Theme Parks My husband and I booked our honeymoon months in advance. We wanted a nice long stay at the Gold Coast. I wanted more than rides at theme parks. After research and then experience, I can now share some attractions everyone should enjoy. I was never enthusiastic about theme parks, because extreme rides have always frightened me. I typically got through other theme park visits with one favoured activity - minding the bags.
